it's not unusual ~
It's not unusual for me to start off on one page - you know the route - your list - of things-to-do - the things that really, really should get done today list.....where I started this morning!
And then the route changed. But that's not unusual.
I loved how easily ColorBoard No. 31 was made with Playcrafts color palette builder.
It's not unusual for me to wake up in a playful frame of mind.
It's not unusual at all for me to chuck the real to-do list and
make one that is much more fun.
It's not the least bit unusual for my blog post title, picture and narrative to have no relationship one to the other.
No. 1 on my to-do list is to wish for you a
day filled with good cheer.
"Sizzlin' " ColorBoard No. 30
A Christmas gift from Finley.......she drew a picture of how she sees me! She thinks I'm cool....I happen to think I'm "Sizzlin' " ! I loved her take on her Aunt Mart and thought it deserved to be spotlighted in a ColorBoard....No. 30.
The first 22 ColorBoards are mixed in here.....Reflections Unfurling and others are intermingled in and out of my fiber musings. Hope you have a cool plans for your hot and sizzlin' June day.

ColorBoard No. 28
Oh, yes, I've been doing something
but with the rainy days and overcast skies,
there's been no good time
for getting pictures
of my sewing projects. I secluded myself in Photoshop
this morning and
dreamed of springtime
and garden angels and dill and rosemary
that I know are out there
waiting for me.
While waiting with hands on chin, pondering
how to find my way today
I put together ColorBoard No. 28.....
Hope you, too, are finding your way
today.

ColorBoard No. 27 - A quilt block
No time for sewing this morning....so a ColorBoard it had to be: A Quilt Block ~
Once upon a time I had a quilt block and I loved all the colors in it......so, in Photoshop, I simply went to file....new, added my quilt block picture to that open file and moved it around to my liking. I then found my eyedropper tool and selected a color from the quilt block, then selected a brush tool and painted that color on the picture. Next step was to open a new layer, select a color, then a brush and do the same thing all over again. Adding a new layer for each color, allows me to move my paint splashes anywhere on the picture I choose. All done, now just merge all the layers, sign my name, resize and save.
Shut this baby down and scoot on out of the house. It's gonna be a full day!
