Let's Go Sew Together ~
Seven of us spent the day sewing our Sew Together Bag....a bag designed by Michelle at Sew Demented....pattern purchased at Craftsy.
Three zippered pockets surrounded by three open pockets.....all zippered together to hold all we might need when we go sew together.
I've finished two and as soon as I get more zippers, I'll be making more. A gal just can't stop when having this much sewing fun. Ramona had already made one or two and agreed to help the rest of us just in case we hit a snag. It was a wonderful Saturday.

Prudence ~
Pru.dence: Care, Caution, Good Judgment. As well as wisdom in looking ahead!
(prood-ns)
Care taken in the management of one's resources.
Consideration of one's own interests.

I took great interest and considered what was a prudent way to spend my time this early morning.
It took me a few minutes in Photshop, but Prudy LuAnn was sketched and colored.
I'm not always prudent in the use of my time...but, I was tired yesterday afternoon so took a nice nap.
I do make lists... but my lists may not always be on paper. I don't use my phone memo pad either!
I find it amusing as I walk the grocery aisle to hear a phone spitting out in an orderly fashion what grocery to pick up next. Or, even more amusing, the husband and wife team shopping together. He's on the phone telling her "I'm on aisle 2 and have the mustard and mayo. Heading for aisle 6 for milk and cheese. You go to aisle 4 for the cereal, then aisle 5 for the toilet tissue and I'll meet you at checkout #2."
I organize my errands and run them in an orderly fashion so as not to backtrack. Some days I'll go to the farthest point and work my way back home. Then, there is always the choice of stopping at the nearest errand destination first and moving outward, then circling back toward home in a more relaxed frame of mind, knowing that all the errands are done. I do this only when there's no risk that the ice cream will melt!
I press my clothes just before putting them on. Perhaps not a very prudent use of time or electricity, but I always know I'm I fresh as it's gonna get that day!
THE END
It surely is quiet in here ~
We had a very quiet weekend....the HuMan and I. It was out to dinner Saturday night - I had boiled shrimp, he had the shrimp platter. Mine was very tasty. He said his was too. I had a Corona. He had two gin and tonics. Mine was very refreshing with the little lime quarter. He said his was too with its little lime garnish. We overheard someone order a Tom Collins. The HumAn asked the bartender as we were leaving. I don't remember the ingredients or I would share it now with you.
Sunday breakfast was shared together standing before the kitchen sink. I ate a banana. He had a toasted bagel with cream cheese....or was it topped with jelly. I really don't remember and will not ask at this late go. Or should I, just to make conversation? It doesn't matter. Does it?
I puzzled as I sat at the sewing machine yesterday afternoon listening as the HuMAn had an old movie playing on TV. Why? Why is there so much dialog? Can the characters in a movie and on tv have so much more to say to each other than the HuMAn and I? Perhaps we use more body language. We talk to each other. But not excessively. We talk when we have something to say to each other....He and I. We always share I love yous before turning out the light each night.
And, already it's Monday morning and HuMan is up and out to visit the opthamologist.
And it surely is quiet in here.
