Saturday in May

The weather is still perfect - not too hot, not too cold and to top that off, the quilt back for yesterdays finished quilt top Mirror, Mirror is also stitched up.   Using practically every scrap of fabric left from the front and then some, it measures big enough to do the job.

The grill is photo bombing but I don't care!  We'll be splitting a steak, baked potato and baked onion for dinner tonight and he's doing all the cooking.   Perfection.

  1. Such an "Oh, so pretty" quilt. I love these fabrics together! That's the kind of bravery I need to employ in my quilts.
I agree, this is the best Louisiana weather. Sometimes I think Mother Nature is taking pity on us. We're in isolation but at least we can go outside and breathe. Here's hoping that she's still pitying us with perfect weather in July and August! And that we're un-isolated, as one of the grands begs for.

    1. Mary, it's not that I'm brave....but compelled. Compelled to not order yards and yards of fabric for quilt backs but to enjoy using what's on the shelf - with success, I hope!
