I think I had something like that in my garden in Va Beach. I think we called it a fire poker but I have no idea if that's it's real name.....I paid someone to plant that garden! lol!
ReplyDeleteOh, Vicki...you are the greatest. I just googled and it is the red hot poker plant/flower. I was so amused by this plant at the herb garden yesterday. Every stage of its flowering created a totally different Dr. Seuss moment!
ReplyDeleteI have one of those that volunteered in my garden a couple of years ago -- I'm always amazed to see it grow and flower. --Never knew what to call it, though.
