Finally finished with this very labor intensive quilt. I had enough fabric for two borders so it is a great size at 98" x 88". Just need to find a fabric for the backing and it will be off to be quilted. I'm very glad to have plunged into the unknown to come out with such a winning look. I think my conservative fabric choices did me proud!
This is a lovely top. I don't think I would be brave enough to start following a pattern without any idea of what it turned out like.
